Founder Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Christopher Tang, the founder and CEO of Vaxdome, is a renowned figure in the field of vaccine development. With his team, they pioneered the creation of DNA vaccines, noninvasive nasal and skin-patch vaccines, as well as innate-adaptive immunity duo vaccines. They also developed in vivo cytotoxicity assays, among other groundbreaking contributions. Dr. Tang earned his PhD from Indiana University and started his career as an assistant instructor/instructor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He then moved on to become an assistant/associate professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). In 1997, he established Vaxin Inc. on the UAB campus, which is now known as Altimmune, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALT). Continuing his success, Dr. Tang also founded Vaxdome Inc. on the University of North Texas Health Science Center campus in 2019. His expertise and dedication have propelled him to the forefront of vaccine research and development.

Board of Director

G. Michael Alder became a member of the Vaxdome board of directors in January 2024. With an impressive and remarkable career as an entrepreneurial innovator, Alder has made significant contributions to the field. From 2006 to 2023, he held the position of Director in the Office of Technology Transfer at Brigham Young University. Additionally, he has played a pivotal role in the establishment of Vaxin Inc., along with the founder and CEO of Vaxdome, Dr. Tang. Together, they co-founded Vaxin Inc. on the UAB campus in 1997. Alder served as the first CEO of Vaxin from 1997 to 1999, helping to shape its early success.
